Andy Beeston
Andrew has more than 15 years of experience in architecture, having studied construction whilst working at an architectural practice in Shrewsbury which had a strong reputation in conservation architecture. Andrew was involved in a variety of projects for repair and refurbishment and change of use of existing buildings including barn conversions. He also worked on the repairs and extensions to Listed Buildings and designing new buildings in traditional and period styles.
Andrew then moved to Galliers Homes as designer producing layouts for housing developments and new house designs. During his time there Andrew obtained planning consents for individual houses, small developments and larger estates of new housing. Part of the work included designing housing layouts for land promoted within the new Shropshire Development Plan which allowed local residents and Shropshire Council to see how the proposed development may look.
At Berrys, Andrew supports the existing planning and design department within the Shrewsbury office, utilising his knowledge of design and construction to obtain Listed Building, Conservation Area and Planning Consents and Building Regulation Approvals.
In 2013 Andrew achieved the status of a Chartered Member within of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
